Professional Liability Insurance
Professional indemnity insurance is held with HDI Versicherung AG, HDI-Platz 1, 30659 Hanover (Germany). The territorial scope of the insurance covers the legal activities at LEXPORTATEU’s branch office in Austria as stated above, the further legal admissions in Germany and Spain, the extrajudicial advisory activities provided by way of cross-border service-providing legal advice in other Member States of the European Union and Turkey, as well as judicial representation in all Member States of the European Union. The material scope of the insurance covers advice on the law of the European Union, all EU Member States, and Turkish law.
Fees for Services
- The fees generally result from the individually concluded fee agreement for the respective mandate. Only if and insofar as no such agreement exists, the fees are based on the General
Terms of Engagement and, additionally, from the applicable legal fee regulations stated above.

If the correctness and amount of a lawyer’s fee claim are disputed, both LEXPORTATEU and the client are entitled to approach the committee of the Salzburg Bar Association for an amicable settlement of the dispute. There is no further obligation or willingness on the part of LEXPORTATEU to participate in alternative dispute resolution proceedings within the meaning of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Act (AStG).
